The school is currently beginning a new phase of development with a 21st Century school that is due to be completed in the Autumn of 2023.
About the Role

Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern: 10hrs per week 8.20am to 8.50am and 3pm to 4.30 pm term time only
Main Place of Work: St Nicholas CIW Primary
Description:
The Head Teacher and Governing Body of St Nicholas CIW Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic mini-bus driver to safely transport pupils to and from school at the beginning and end of school day in a professional and caring manner. You will undertake multiple routes from the school to and from the extended catchment area – currently 1 route (am) and 2 routes (pm). There are various pick up / drop off points along each route. The driver is accompanied at all times by a bus escort. The school is also seeking a caretaker and there is the opportunity to combine both jobs. About you
You will need:
• A valid, clean driving licence with at least 5 years driving experience
• Fully understand the requirements of the Highway Code – with particular reference to minibus driving
• Ability to maintain a safe level of behaviour whilst pupils transported
• Good communication skills and friendly personality
• Reasonable standard of literacy
• Practical common sense approach
