The Governors seek to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic, committed, and dynamic practitioner to lead, challenge, and continue to raise our aspirations and ensure excellent learning opportunities for all pupils.

Governors are seeking to appoint a Headteacher with passion for developing excellence for all, who will work in partnership with our community and who will:
• Develop a strategic vision which continues to drive the newly federated schools;
• Build on existing strengths of the schools and embrace the exciting opportunity to further develop the potential of pupils and staff;
• Have high expectations of pupils’ progress, attainment and behaviour, whilst ensuring that pupil and staff interests and wellbeing are at the heart of all planning;
• Inspire, motivate and enthuse the whole school community with the confidence to set and work towards ambitious goals;
• Lead by example - with integrity, creativity, resilience, and warmth - drawing on their own experience, expertise, and skills, and that of those around them.
• Maintain rich and broad curriculum opportunities, embracing the principles of the Curriculum for Wales to ensure relevant and enjoyable learning experiences for all pupils;
• Demonstrate a strong, enthusiastic and inclusive vision and commitment to Welshness, the Welsh language and culture, in keeping with the current ethos of both schoolsand the local community.

Together as a federation, we can offer you…
• a welcoming and inclusive community that cares deeply about the success and wellbeing of our children and the future of our schools;
• a close-knit team of staff who are dedicated, hardworking, caring and always go that extra mile for our children;
• pupils who have a real sense of belonging, who are respectful, eager to learn, creative and able to express themselves;
• parents and carers who are supportive and involved and engaged in their children’s learning;
• an environment that is safe, positive, welcoming, and which promotes and celebrates success;
• a Governing Body that is committed to improvement and able to work closely with the schools and the headteacher to ensure all pupils and staff have the support needed to fulfil their potential.
