Learning Support Officer / Relief Cover Supervisor - Maes Yr Haul Primary School
Job description 30 Hours per week – Term Time
The Governing Body of Maes yr Haul Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and caring Learning Support Officer to join a highly motivated and friendly teaching team.
Our LSOs are a vital part of our classroom teams and many of them also work as Cover Supervisors on a relief basis for part of the week providing PPA cover for their usual class teacher. Therefore, we are particularly interested in candidates who would also be confident and willing undertake this work if required.
We are considering appointments for more than one position within the school, so are interested in applications from candidates with experience of different ages within the primary range.
Protecting children, young people or adults is a core responsibility for all council employees.
Applicants should note that a criminal record check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
