Teacher (Mathematics)

Teacher (Mathematics)

Ceredigion County Council
About the role
The e-sgol project has been running since September 2018, offering lessons through e-learning to post-14 pupils that would not be available without this innovative provision. Our intention is to extend the provision available to our young people with a wide range of 14-19 qualifications, and also to promote and support this provision across Wales.

e-sgol is seeking to appoint a progressive and conscientious educator to teach A level Mathematics to a group of pupils from a cluster of schools, starting September 1st, 2023. Applications are welcome from experienced as well as newly qualified teachers.

The successful candidate will be:
  • passionate about teaching Mathematics
  • an excellent educator
  • committed to ensuring that all pupils reach their potential
  • possess experience of teaching A Level Mathematics
  • possess experience of teaching A Level Further Mathematic
The ability to communicate in Welsh will be essential for this post.

Most of the teaching will be done via Teams as pupils will attend more than one site. This means that the teacher does not have to be a local resident but will be expected to travel to various schools occasionally.

For an informal chat or for more information, you are welcome to contact the Headteacher, Llifon Ellis on llifon.ellis@e-sgol.cymru
