Role Title: Work Based Learning Practitoner - Electrical Engineering

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time

Salary: £29,021 - £32,706

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer in your field with a reputation for quality and excellence?

Come and join our team as a work based learning practitioner in Electrical Engineering, and join other industry professionals who have decided to share their knowledge with the next up and coming generation of engineers.

If you've never worked in an education setting before? Don't worry! Neither had many of our long serving members of staff. We can provide all the training you need and we are committed to your development.

In this role you will have the opportunity to provide a range of services in support of workplace assessment on NVQ or similar programmes whilst also assessing other business areas. You will help enrol students on appropriate courses and provide the coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities that can really make a difference to young people's lives.

You will also assess candidate portfolios, present completed ones for internal verification and monitor the student's progress towards their qualification, meaning you get to work alongside them throughout their college experience, give feedback and help them build a portfolio of evidence.

Essential Requirements
  • Possess or be willing to work towards an assessor qualification
  • A professionally relevant qualification at minimum Level 3
  • Self-motivated, well organised and able to work independently using own initiative
  • Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport
  • Computer Literate

Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
