Job description
Are you looking for work with children?

Are you energetic, caring, punctual and reliable and committed to keeping children safe?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of the safe crossing of pupils and other pedestrians at a specific location going to and from school, ensuring their health and safety at all times.

The post is for a School Crossing Patrol Monday to Friday, at YGGC which will consist of two shifts per day, one at the beginning of the school day and one at the end. The crossing site is situated directly outside the school on the zebra crossing at Pontygwindy Road.

You will comply with our policies and ensure regulations are adhered to, within the School Crossing Patrol Guidelines and Handbook.

You must be an effective communicator and will be expected to liaise with management, parents, pupils and the school successfully.
