Role Title: Lecturer in Welsh for Adults and Welsh Skills

Location: Yale, Wrexham

Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term (August 2024)

Salary: £28,751 to £44,442 (Pro rata) Upper pay range points UP2 and UP3 are subject to evidence of previous progression to Upper Pay Spine

Coleg Cambria are now looking for several Lecturers to deliver a variety of Welsh language courses to adults across North East Wales.

As a Lecturer in Welsh for Adults you will be responsible for delivering courses at all levels on behalf of the National Centre for Learning Welsh both virtually and in classroom settings. As a Lecturer in Welsh Skills you will also offer language training, mentoring and support to students who want to continue their studies through the medium of Welsh.

The start date for the role is October 2023.

Essential Requirements
  • Qualified to a Minimum of Level 4 or equivalent
  • Fluent Welsh
  • Teaching qualification or willing to work toward
  • Must be able to communicate and deliver learning fluently through the medium of Welsh
  • We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be open and responsive to the needs of others and recognise and make students aware of their strengths and development needs.

Welsh language skills are essential for this position.
