Assistant Cook - Bridgend Resource Centre
Job description
15 Hours per week
Applications are invited for the above position as Assistant Cook.
The successful candidate will be required to assist the cook with the preparation of 30-90 meals per day. You will assist in the training and organisation of staff and knowledge of kitchen administration procedures would be an advantage.
You will be expected to cover for the Cook in their absence and also to cover at schools within the County Borough if required. An Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate is required for this post. Training will be provided if necessary.
Working hours will be arranged between the hours of 9am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Applicants should note that a criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
