The Governing Body is looking to appoint an outstanding, proactive, and highly motivated Premises Manager to work with and manage the school and premises team.

Coety Primary is an innovative, forward-thinking school looking to hire an exceptional person for the Premises Manager role.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Is willing and able to work positively with our children, staff team, parents/carers and community to ensure that the school community succeeds;

Has a proven track record of success in a trade or type of premises management;

Has an eye for detail and understands the importance of different Health and Safety Policies and Procedure;

Has the skills to prioritise tasks and can effectively plan their own time and the work allocation for their team;

Is digitally/technically literate or has experience with basic programmes such as Outlook / Word / PowerPoint;

Experience maintaining and managing security systems, fire systems, access controls, water systems and other premises systems;

Can be a proactive, flexible and a team player;

Embraces professional learning and is willing and able to train other colleagues;

Has high expectations of themselves, others, and will take a sense of price in the school site.

This is an exciting time to join Coety Primary School as we are midway through a significant transformation. The Premises Manager is a new role in our structure and will be a key member of the school team going forward.

The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.

Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.

Emergency Response and managing lettings are a requirement of this post.
