The Head Teacher, Staff, learners and Governing Body of Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspiring Class Teacher to join our happy and highly successful school. The post is full-time and permanent, starting on the 1st September, 2023 pending pre-employment and safeguarding checks.
We are looking for an exceptional, inspirational, enthusiastic and knowledgeable practitioner who is interested in children's holistic development within a broad and balanced curriculum.

The successful candidate will:
-understand appropriate curriculum pedagogy

be passionate about teaching and learning and in creating engaging learning environments and experiences for our children at Clytha;
-be highly organised, leading other Enabling Adults to ensure the best learning opportunities for all children;
-be committed to the development of holistic learning experiences including extra-curricular activities;
- work effectively as part of our strong school team and contribute fully to the life of our school;
- demonstrate an up to date knowledge of Curriculum for Wales, progression and assessment;
-be innovative, reflective and responsive in their approach;
-be able to embrace community partnerships and our 'Clytha Family' fostering good links with parents and all stakeholders
-be a reflective practitioner utilising assessment effectively to move learning and their own teaching continually forward;
-have the ability to inspire our children and sustain a love of learning and our high standards;
-have high expectations of themselves and others;
-have enthusiasm and commitment towards their own professional development;
-demonstrate and promote excellence, equity and high expectations for all
-have excellent organisational and communication skills.
