GO5 £10,650 - £11,042 per annum

0.8 contract - 22 hours per week (Temporary for 1 year initially)

The governors of St Mary's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and innovative team within our very happy, caring and inclusive school community.

The successful applicant will:

✔ Support the Catholic ethos of the school

✔Actively promote the school's ethos of inclusion and celebrate the diverse nature of our school

✔ Have previous experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs and vulnerable learners

✔ Work under the direction of the ALNCo and class teachers to deliver suitable interventions/ programmes of support to enable all pupils across the school to make progress in their well-being and learning

✔ Establish supportive relationships with pupils, parents and staff

✔ Participate in any relevant ongoing/ additional professional development and training to support the ongoing needs of the role

✔ Be a confident communicator

✔ Be able to work constructively as part of an effective team and have the ability to use initiative when working independently

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

The interview process will involve an observation of a small group intervention task, followed by a face- to- face interview

INTERVENTION TASK OBSERVATIONS:
• Shortlisted applicants will be observed delivering a short group-based intervention activity to build pupils' confidence, self- esteem and overall well-being (approx. 15 minutes duration)

INTERVIEW
• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a face-to-face interview
