Torfaen Local Authority is looking to appoint a part time Educational Psychologist. This post is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Educational Psychology Service delivery. The EPS is a small, friendly, very supportive team. We have a Trauma-Informed ethos and culture. We place value on Continued Professional Development. We operate a solution-focussed, consultation model of delivery, group consultation sessions and ELSA training and supervision.
We require applicants who are able to work at a systemic, group and individual level to support positive outcomes, with regard to raising achievement, promoting inclusion and supporting the emotional wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people.
Torfaen is a small local authority in a semi-rural location. It has sites of National Heritage.
Applicants should be fully qualified Educational Psychologists as recognised by the HCPC. We would also welcome applications from Trainee EPs currently in their 3rd year of the Doctoral training programme, to commence upon successful completion.
