The Governing Body of Awel y Mor Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and highly talented Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support and deliver high quality learning opportunities for our early Foundation Phase pupils. You will join a highly skilled team of early years practitioners and work mostly within our Foundation Phase site.

You will work with the leader of the Foundation Phase and class teacher to contribute to the planning, the delivery and to evaluate pupil progress within a progressive, skill-based programme for learning within the early years. You will also be passionate about working with our parents and wider school community to support transition into and home from school.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about working with our youngest children, able to support strategies aimed at maximising pupils' skills and well-being, be a good communicator and a committed team member. You must be caring, flexible and approachable for our staff, pupils and parents in order to help motivate learners to succeed. You must be able to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment and show the ability to work collaboratively with our whole team to benefit our children.
