Senior Administrator - Coety Primary School
Job description
33.75 hours per week (40 weeks of the year – Term Time + 1 week)
The Governing Body is looking to appoint an outstanding, proactive, and highly motivated Senior Administrative Officer to work within the school’s administration team.
Coety Primary is an innovative, forward-thinking school looking to hire an exceptional person for the Senior Administrative Officer’s role. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated administrator with a proven track record of working within a busy office.

the successful candidate will:
Be able to work positively with our children, staff team, parents/carers and community to ensure that the school community succeeds;
Be a proactive, flexible and team player;
Embrace professional learning and is willing and able to train other colleagues;
Have high expectations of themselves, others, and will take a sense of pride in their role;
Be able to manage and prioritise workload and meet deadlines;
Have experience of working in a school and knowledge of SIMS Management Information /Financial Management Systems;
Be responsible for the efficient management of the reception and office, liaising with parents staff, and a range of outside agencies;
Have the ability to work on their own initiative;
Being active team member.
This is an exciting time to join Coety Primary School as we are midway through a significant transformation. The senior administrative officer is a new role in our structure and will be a key member of the school team going forward.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
