We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Canolfan Bro Tywi, educating primary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The person will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising a 1:1 pupil where required alongside small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, alongside pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes to pupils excluded from, or not otherwise working to, a mainstream school timetable.
A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Reasonable Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
