The Head Teacher and Governing Body of St. Andrew’s Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and caring teaching assistant (Level 2).

The role will involve working mainly in one of our Learning Resource Base classes to support vulnerable pupils with Additional Learning and Behavioural Needs.

Ideally you will have some experience of working with children in a school setting as well as experience of supporting children with additional needs and challenging behaviour.

Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.

THIS POST REQUIRES YOU TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE EWC.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
