The Headteacher, Governing Body and children at Milton Primary School would like to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Year 6 teacher for fixed term of one year, from September 2023. This position can also be offered as a secondment opportunity.

We are looking for an inspirational, innovative and committed practitioner, who will be excited by the opportunity to lead a school improvement priority. They will have an up to date knowledge and understanding of the current curriculum reform in Wales and a passion for developing excellent teaching and learning that is at the cutting edge. You will have the knowledge and ambition to ensure that learning experiences, attainment and achievement are maximised.

You will be play a key role on our leadership team and will be a passionate teacher and leader for whom teaching is a true vocation.

THIS POST REQUIRES YOU TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE EWC.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).

The appointment process will begin with a lesson observation, following which only selected candidates may be invited to interview. The next stage will then consist of a presentation and an interview with the appointment panel.
