Salary Details: BS 22-25 BAR 26-29 (£25,194-£27,280 BAR £28,168-£31,298 per annum)

This is an 8 point extended scale with progression incrementally on an annual basis. Please note, progression beyond the bar is dependent on an internal set of conditions. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College's starting salaries matrix.
Please note the quoted pay rate includes a 5% uplift which is subject to the final agreed cost of living pay settlement for the 2022/23 academic year

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week worked over 5 days

Contract Type: Salaried - Permanent

Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays & college efficiency closures

Qualifications: You will hold a relevant qualification at Level 4 or equivalent and;

It is essential to hold an ILM qualification at level 3. If not currently held, you will be supported to undertake and achieve the College's ILM programme within a specified timescale.
Experience: You will be experienced in awarding body quality assurance processes, ideally within further education. You will have experience of management information systems and data analysis/reporting. You will have a commitment to the concept of continuous improvement to positively impact on learner outcomes and learner experience.
You will support internal verifiers in their role to ensure sampling of learner work is timely and in line with awarding body requirements and you will help faculty teams to prepare for external quality assurance visits. You will analyse learner outcomes data for quality improvement purposes.
You will help to drive continuous improvement by ensuring quality development plans are in place and co-ordinating the mid- and end- of year review processes. You will support relevant departments to monitor the impact of key processes, such as appraisals and staff development.
You will demonstrate initiative, have an organised and structured approach to work and must have the ability to work towards and meet targets/deadlines. You will be an excellent communicator providing a high level of customer service to both staff and in particular to faculty management and teaching teams.
This role will be undertaken on the College premises in Haverfordwest. The College has a flexible working policy but due to the nature of the role, home or remote working cannot be agreed on a regular or permanent basis.
