Inclusion Services Manager - Equality

Salary Details: BS34-37 £36,408-£39,255 per annum

This is a 4 point incremental scale with progression to each point on an annual basis. Commencing salaries will be assessed in accordance with the College's starting salaries matrix.
Hours of Work: Full Time- 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Salaried. Permanent

Holiday Entitlement: 37 days per annum, plus statutory bank holidays & college efficiency closures

Qualifications: A relevant professional qualification at minimum level 5 is essential. As well as an accredited teaching qualification- post 16. If not held, the College will support you in achieving this within an agreed timescale.
Details: The successful applicant will support on the development and achievement of the College's Strategic Equality, Diversity and Inclusion vision and to further strengthen a fully diverse and inclusive culture across all College staff and learners. They will ensure that appropriate levels of learning, communication, visual support, advice and guidance are provided for college learners with Additional Learning Needs, specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
Experience: You will have knowledge and extensive experience of working with learners who are protected by the Equality Act 2010. Ideally, you will also have experience of managing and training staff in this area and providing expert advice within an organisational context. Your specialist and management skills will enhance the existing skills base of the highly motivated Inclusion Services Management team, ensuring appropriate levels of support are provided for learners who are protected by the Equality Act 2010 and the Additional Learning Needs Act 2018 and the ALN Code 2021.
This role will be undertaken on the College premises in Haverfordwest. The College has a flexible working policy but due to the nature of the role, home or remote working cannot be agreed on a regular or permanent basis.
