Job description
27.5 hours per week - Temporary 1 year – to commence September 2023
As a result of promotions and professional development opportunities within the school, the Governors of Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Bro Ogwr are seeking to appoint a well-motivated learning support officer with experience of working within the Primary phase to join a dedicated, innovative and creative team whilst providing a stimulating and nurturing environment that celebrates the individuality of all children.
The appointed learning support officer will need to demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the post and outstanding classroom practice. The successful candidate will be expected to build positive relationships with all the school's stakeholders.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
A criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
