Pen-y-fro Primary School is situated at the western end of the village of Dunvant, on the edge of the Gower Peninsula. It is housed in a modern single storey building sited in a wonderful position with extensive school grounds. At Pen -y-fro, our philosophy is to provide a secure and happy environment, rich in a variety of rewarding learning experiences so that all children can learn, achieve and develop positive personal relationships. The successful candidates will :-

• be a high calibre, committed teacher
• be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour
• understand how to inspire and challenge children through providing high quality learning experiences
• have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the requirements and expectations of Curriculum for Wales.
• be an excellent communicator, able to inspire, enthuse and motivate others.
• be able to take on an area of responsibility and demonstrate high levels of initiative .
