The Acting Headteacher and Governing Body of Penllergaer Primary School is looking to appoint an excellent grade 6 Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with children throughout the school. Experience within ICT/Outdoor Learning would be desirable.

The successful candidate will:
- Lead an area to cover PPA sessions.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Be flexible in their approach to changing situations.
- Have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Have experience of working in a Foundation Phase and Key stage 2 setting and supporting high quality teaching and learning.
- Understand the skills needed to support children with additional learning needs.
- Enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning.
- Be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community.
- Meet Higher Level Teaching Assistants standards or equivalent qualification or experience.
