Compliance Auditor
At Itec we are looking to recruit and enthusiastic candidates with a keen eye for detail to be responsible for providing assurance to effectively process the procedures in place and are compliant with contractual, legislative, professional quality and audit standards.
Salary Banding: £26,000 to £28,000
Base: Itec House, Cardiff
Contract type: Full time, permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm

What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• Delivering internal audits and reviews of processes and practices to monitor compliance with external standards, contractual, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
• Delivering observational audits of Adviser provision in practice to ensure customer satisfaction and performance targets are being achieved.
• Planning audits and producing clear and concise audit reports in line with external standard requirements and contractual timescales.
• Identifying, documenting, and communicating continual improvement areas arising from audit activities.
• Planning and assisting in an annual self-assessment process and participating in working group activities.
• Planning and assisting with external inspections and audits as relevant to the role.
• Working with Business Assurance team to design, develop, implement, and review audit tools and techniques.
• Provide advice and support in support of continual improvement
• Prioritise audit activity, supporting the improvement of business processes and continuous improvement of service delivery
• Working as part of a wider team to ensure all company assessments, audits and continual improvements are systematically reviewed and implemented in line with the business strategy.
• Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice, and company’s Code of Conduct.
• Any other duties reasonably expected as requested by line management



What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?

Essential

• Working within customer service environment
• Working with quality (or similar) management systems
• Experience of Carrying out internal audits
• Observational audits
• Creating policies and process documentation
• Full driving licence with use of own vehicle


Desirable

• Databases, e-portfolio systems, customer management systems
• Working withing education and learning sector
• Public funded support contracts
• Level 2 Management
• Internal Audit
• ISO 9001 and/or 27001 or similar
• Degree or similar

This role is subject to a DBS check, the cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
The successful appointment will need to be self-registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Work-Based Learning Practitioner.
