The post holder will deliver and support literacy intervention programmes designed to improve pupils' reading, writing, vocabulary and wider literacy skills. They will work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement agreed learning activities, adapt support to meet individual needs, and evaluate the impact of interventions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of pupil progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, supporting the implementation and evaluation of whole-school literacy strategies, contributing to review meetings, and undertaking administrative tasks associated with intervention delivery. The role also requires the establishment of positive relationships with pupils, the promotion of high standards of behaviour and engagement, participation in professional learning activities, and the completion of other reasonable duties as directed by the school.
