Adult Tutor- Employability skills - Covering South East Wales region

We are currently recruiting a motivated individual who has background in teaching and has experience in delivering employability frameworks to adult learners. The role will be delivering employability skills to adults across our centres located in South East Wales.

Salary Banding: £18,000 - £23,000 per annum

Location: Covering South East Wales


What are the core responsibilities of this role?
• To provide a learning & employability framework to Adult learners, ensuring attainment of positive outcomes
• Providing support to unemployed adults to gain & sustain employment through improving employability skills
• Conduct initial interviews & assessment activities using a range of tools
• Develop & utilise lesson plans to incorporate topics relating to class teaching, individual, paired, group & differentiated activities
• Working closely with centralised sales teams to identify job opportunities
• Completion of all learner related documentation to ensure correct content & accuracy, including monthly reviews of progress

What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?
• Experience of working with vulnerable adults
• Experience of delivering Essential Skills
• Minimum Grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English or equivalent
• Engaging and inspirational training / delivery style
• Full driving license and access to your own car
Desirable criteria
• Ability to speak Welsh advantageous

This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company
The successful appointment will need to be self-registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Work-Based Learning Practitioner
