About the Job
We are looking for a highly skill Curriculum Development Officer who will be able to develop, coordinate and implement a cohesive programme of adult learning provision in the geographical area of Swansea and Neath Port Talbot including all aspects of planning; financing; organisation; resource allocation and development.

This is a hands on role, operating at pace, you will be key in assisting the Regional Manager in ensuring that all learning activities meet the agreed provision, finance and quality targets, and in assisting in the development of online and blended learning opportunities.

The role is significantly focused on supporting and developing ESOL provision in central Swansea, and the Creative Arts and Construction provision at the Neath Port Talbot Learning Hub, as well as general community provision in the Swansea and Neath Port Talbot areas.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
You will be qualified to Level 3 Teaching qualification and a Level 3 Assessor Award or predecessor, have experience of community education, adult education or community development, and proven knowledge of promoting or marketing activities in a community setting. You will have experience of planning, delivery and coordinating online and blended teaching and learning opportunities.

You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills and actively recruit viable numbers of learners onto the provision via networking, collaboration and promotion and develop partnerships and collaboration opportunities with a wide range of external bodies. The ability to communicate in Welsh would be an advantage but not essential.

You will be experienced and qualified in the implementation of internal quality procedures, have excellent organisational, coordinating and administrative skills and be able to work independently.
