The Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent regulator, ensuring professionalism and high standards of conduct and competence within the education workforce in Wales.

Working as part of the team responsible for leading the EWC’s policy and advice work, the Policy and Planning Officer will undertake research and assist in developing and drafting policy documents such as consultation responses and Good Practice Guides for registrants. The Policy and Planning Officer will also assist in preparing and monitoring the EWC’s internal planning processes in support of its strategic, operational and equality objectives.

The successful candidate will have experience of working effectively within a project environment, developing and maintaining administrative processes and organising and facilitating meetings. They will have excellent interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to collate diverse information and data. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential to the post.
