CNC Casual Engage Trainer
Salary: £23.50 per hour

A new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a casual trainer to prepare and deliver CNC based training for our commercial clients. You will have significant understanding of CAD CAM and have post apprenticeship experience of CNC programming and operation.

Engage Training, the commercial arm of Bridgend College, is expanding to enhance its skills solutions programme to meet the business needs of employers across the region. The organisation is committed to supporting employers develop tangible training programmes to increase bottom line value. Key Duties:

  • Develop, prepare and deliver CNC based training for commercial clients
  • Assess the ability of the candidates and provide feedback
Essential Criteria:

  • Post apprenticeship experience of CNC programming and operation
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documentation and drawings
  • Use of CMM equipment to validation machine process
  • Good understanding of CAD CAM
  • Siemens CNC interface experience
  • Use of multi axis machinery and fixtures
  • Machine setup and optimisation
  • Good communications skills
  • Flexible approach to development and delivery
