About the role
Are you an energetic and hardworking person, who takes pride in their work? We have an opportunity for a motivated caretaker to join our team to help ensure the school is a safe, welcoming, and purposeful environment for the children, staff and visitors.

This job will include a variety of responsibilities regarding the school buildings and site, including health and safety, general maintenance of the whole site and security.

We are looking for an individual who:
  • Is practical and can implement the school's systems and procedures.
  • Takes pride in their work and can suggest improvements to the school's environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative while ensuring the site is safe and organised.
  • Can follow risk assessments and create dynamic risk assessments when needed.
  • Can contribute towards projects and maintenance schedules.
  • Has good practical DIY skills.
  • Can communicate effectively with all the school staff.
  • Is a safe pair of hands ensuring the whole site security.
