About the role
Aberaeron Comprehensive School are seeking to employ an experienced Teaching Assistant Level 3.

Aberaeron Comprehensive School is Bilingual school with over 570 pupils, over 90 of whom are in the 6th form. We aim to create a hard working environment in which pupils can enjoy academic success, and develop personally and emotionally, by virtue of social and cultural activities. Pupils are encouraged to do their best at all times, to achieve the highest possible standards for life during and after their school years.

Along with an Additional Learning Needs Department the school also maintains a Specialist Speech, Language and Communication Resource Centre - Canolfan y Mor. Canolfan y Mor caters for pupils with a range of complex Social, Language and Communication needs. The successful candidate will be required to support within Canolfan y Mor, possibly within the mainstream classroom and/or the Additional Leaning Needs Department. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly as part of a team and be able to change their way of working to meet the various needs of the pupils that we support. Experience of working with pupils with Speech, Language and Communication difficulties would be advantageous but not essential. Due to the nature of the role the candidate needs to be physically fit and mobile.
