About the role
We are looking to recruit a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to assist us in supporting and delivering learning within KS 3. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy environment, using their own initiative, have a positive outlook and a genuine interest in supporting pupils in their learning.

Aberaeron Comprehensive School is a bilingual school with up to 600 pupils at the school which also has a successful 6th form. During a visit by Estyn in 2023, they noted that 'pupils' well-being is a very high priority and a strong emphasis is placed on supporting pupils to ensure that they are happy and thrive academically.'

We have an excellent ALN Department that also includes an LA maintained specialist Centre-Canolfan Y Mor. We also have a skills based learning Centre-Canolfan Croeso as well as the Learning Centre (KS 4). The successful candidate will work flexibly with a range of KS 3 pupils using a range of supportive strategies.
