Ysgol Cedewain is an up and coming special school in Newtown, Powys. It will shortly be moving into a 21 st century, state of the art, purpose-built facility. We are looking for two inspiring SEN One to One/group Teaching Assistants to join the school on a full-time basis. The roles will involve working in class groups either with small groups and/or 1-1. Our school caters for children and young people with profound, severe and complex needs, many of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have the following:
- ·Level 2 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational establishment.
- Experience with ALN or SEN, plus GCSE grade c or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
- A calm, patient and caring personality
- Good communication skills
- A good understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding Guidelines
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education.
