We are excited to announce a vacancy for a JGW+ Youth Tutor to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of youth aged 16-19. Our JGW+ contract is committed to empowering young people and helping them build successful futures. If you have a strong passion for working with youth and supporting their personal and professional development, are enthusiastic about working with young people, empowering them to reach their full potential, and have the qualifications and passion for this role, we would love to hear from you.
As a JGW+ Youth Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding young people as they navigate their career and personal development journeys. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, informative, and interactive sessions to help youth participants achieve their goals, gain employability skills, and make informed decisions about their futures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct group classroom-based sessions with learners.
• Provide personalised support and guidance tailored to individual needs.
• Assist in developing and delivering bespoke engaging sessions.
• Mentor and motivate young people to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
• Deliver workshops on topics such as employability skills, resume writing, interview preparation, and financial literacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
• Track and report on learner progress and outcomes.
• Support young peoples wellbeing by identifying and facilitating relevant enrichment sessions.
Requirements:
• Experience of working with young people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant experience e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or coaching youth
• Ability to develop course material.
• Knowledge of training industry e.g., youth employability programs and resources with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs.
This role is subject to a DBS check. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the company.
