LEVEL 2 TEACHING ASSISTANT

TEACHING ASSISTANT - 17.5 hours per week (8.30am - 12pm) £8380 - £8532

Start date: Monday 6th November 2023

Temporary contract until March 31st, likely to be extended.

TERM TIME ONLY WITH NO TERM TIME LEAVE

The Governing Body seeks to appoint a suitably experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide pupil support in Year 3 under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff in the school.

Desirable qualities:
• Experience of supporting pupils in improving standards of literacy and numeracy
• Knowledge of the new curriculum for Wales
• Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and colleagues and work as part of a team
• Enthusiastic, intuitive and committed with a good sense of humour
• Ability to support pupils within the classroom setting and to fully embrace the expectations of school life
• Experience with a range of interventions such as RWInc and SAMFEDs would be beneficial
