We are looking to create a varied bank of experienced, qualified, highly committed and motivated individuals to deliver a number of subject areas (to the WJEC/Pearson specifications).
The purpose of the 'bank' will be to hold successful applications to be used on an ad-hoc basis.

We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced lecturers to teach on a range of levels based in our historic Llwyn Y Bryn Campus in Uplands. Holding a relevant degree, you will possess a CELTA Certificate (or equivalent) and ideally hold a PGCE qualification or be willing to work towards one. As ESOL is a growth area for the College, there is potential for a significant amount of hours. If you are passionate about teaching people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including asylum seekers and refugees, this could be a hugely rewarding career.
Independent Living Skills
Delivering on a variety of courses from pre-entry to E3, across a range of Social, Life and Work skills programmes, you will have a broad understanding and specific knowledge of the curriculum and recent developments within the sector.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidates should possess a relevant degree, have a thorough knowledge of their specialist subject field and ideally a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
Successful candidates will develop and employ a variety of learning strategies, including the use of ILT, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.
As a confident communicator, with enthusiasm and an innovative approach, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students to create a positive learning environment leading to an outstanding learner experience. Possessing excellent organisation and problem solving skills you will adopt a flexible approach to working patterns during the daytime and evening.
