The Employability Team at Pembrokeshire College delivers a range of support for both young people, and unemployed adults in Pembrokeshire. Currently there are various opportunities available for Employability Trainers to join the team.
Employability Trainers (Various Opportunities Available)
Salary Details: £23,581- £25,534 BAR £26,366-£29,295 pro rata
Contract Type:: Permanent & Fixed Term positions available
Please note, fixed term positions will initially extend to 31 December 2022
Working Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Part-time (variable hours up to 30 hours per week)
Candidates will be required to stipulate whether they are interested in full-time or part-time hours. For candidates interested in part-time hours only, please indicate the number of hours you are available on your application form.
Qualifications: You will be educated to a minimum level 3 and ideally hold a relevant teaching or delivery/training related qualification such as, AET (formerly PTLLS). Highly proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite is also essential.
Experience: It is essential to have experience of delivering/presenting to a group of people. Previous experience of teaching /training would be highly advantageous.
Details: The post-holders will be able to support the delivery of 1:1 and group sessions in a range of employability related areas including team building and practical activities. A flexible and responsive attitude focusing on the needs of a wide range of customers are vital to the role, coupled with a friendly positive attitude. The role will be based in Haverfordwest.
