Malpas Court Primary School
Duties include:
• Vacuum cleaning hard and soft floors
• Sweeping and mopping classroom floors
• Wiping, polishing, dusting and spray cleaning surfaces, furniture, materials, ledges, pipes, paintwork, doors and polishing door glass
• Emptying and cleaning bins
• Cleaning toilets (children’s toilets and staff toilets) including sanitary fittings and surrounds
• Maintaining cleaning cupboard order and stock levels
• Spot cleaning spillages, including urine, stool and vomiting incidents using the appropriate spill packs.
• Such other duties as may be allocated from time to time
The post holder will be employed on a permanent basis on a 52-week contract. The hours are 17.5 per week; specific times to be discussed during interview. Different hours to be agreed during school holidays. Annual leave must be taken during school holidays with agreement from line manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that high standards of cleanliness are maintained across Malpas Court Primary School, Nursery and Flying Start at all times.

The appointment process will involve an interview with members of the Senior Management Team and the school Caretaker.
