Description:
A full time class teacher for our Year 1 pupils with a responsibility to plan their teaching and achieve progression through identification of clear teaching objectives, setting tasks which challenge through appropriate expectations, maintaining high level of interest whilst meeting the needs of all pupils. The role includes the management of learning support assistants and other adults in the classroom. The class teacher would be expected to evaluate their own teaching and take responsibility for their own professional reading and learning. The role would include planning relevant and engaging curriculum projects, marking and monitoring pupils’ work, setting targets for progress, completing pupil progress records and presenting informative reports to parents.
