Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Fixed Term or Secondment until 31.08.24

The Headteacher, Governing Body and children at Milton Primary School are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Applications are welcomed from practitioners who are committed to children’s well-being. They will be passionate about ensuring that children are enabled to realise their full potential and have happy, healthy and successful futures.

The successful candidate will plan, prepare and deliver learning opportunities for a mixed-age group of pupils with additional learning needs. They will ensure highly effective provision for this group of pupils, managing the teaching assistants who also work with this group.

• is sensitive to the emotional, social and wellbeing needs of children
• has a sound understanding of child development and additional learning needs
