Role Title: Work Based Assessor in Health and Social Care (Adults)
Location: Deeside
Contract Type: Full Time - Permanent
Salary: £27,164 - £30,613 based on a salary assessment and relevant experience
We are now searching for a qualified and experienced Health and Social Care Assessor to help support & assess our learners on our work based learning apprenticeship programmes.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience and competence within the Health and Social Care industry and hold a professionally relevant qualification at Level 3 as a minimum.
As a Work Based Assessor you will be required to assess a number of different assessment areas. You will also enrol students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities.
Assessing candidate portfolios and presenting completed portfolios for internal verification, you will monitor the candidate’s progress towards their qualification and give them constructive feedback, helping them to build a portfolio of evidence.
Essential Requirements
Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
TAQA (Assessor Qualification) Qualified is desirable
Able to communicate through the medium of Welsh
Proven industry knowledge and experience within Health and Social Care - specifically with adults
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Self motivated, well organised and able to work independently using own initiative
Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own transport
