Salary scale at £12.91 per hour (including holiday pay)

Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales has a fantastic opportunity for highly skilled, qualified Learner Support Assistants to support our adult learners in the Bridgend area. To work in partnership with tutors to support and assist any learners with specific additional learning needs in accordance with learners' needs and Adult Learning Wales policies and procedures.

The Learner Support Assistant role is a diverse, hands on role where you be working independently and also with the regional team.

You will have responsibility for (but not exhaustive to):
  • Supporting and assisting learners in accordance with the learner needs and Adult Learning Wales policies and procedures
  • To establish constructive and effective working relationships with learners and to interact with them according to their individual needs, and to help build their confidence and enhance self-esteem
  • Supporting learners in various practical activities in accordance to course subject assessment criteria
