Unqualified: £22,904 - £27,030 per annum (pro rata)

Qualified: £29,162 - £45,077 pro rata per annum (pro rata)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bridgend College for a part time Lecturer in Performing Arts to join our fantastic Arts team on a fixed-term basis.

You will have knowledge and understanding of a range of Acting practitioners, for example Stanislavski, Brecht, Strasberg etc. along with knowledge of UAL specifications and assessment. You will have historical and contextual understanding of the history and development of the theatre industry and knowledge of acting training. You will also have experience of directing/producing production/performances.

We ask that you have knowledge of FE curriculum delivery, along with a degree in Acting or equivalent. You should also hold a PGCE certificate (or be prepared to obtain this) and have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
