Role Title: Administrator (Part time)

Location: Deeside

Contract Type: Permanent, Part time. (Wednesday PM, Thursday and Friday)

Salary: £23,844 - £24,717 (this is the full time salary, salary will be pro rata depending on working pattern)

We currently have a vacancy for a self-motivated administrator to join ou r Projects and Funding team at our Deeside campus. Within the role you will provide administrative support to management staff and to departmental activities and objectives. You will be required to complete a range of office-related duties to collaborate with colleagues to ensure coordination of the administrative support service within the department on a day-to-day basis.

Working flexibly and as part of a team, you will organise and administer financial transactions and contribute to, maintain, and develop appropriate office administration and information systems. You will support internal and external customers as appropriate and liaise with college staff and external organisations regarding appropriate matters relating to the business area.

If you hold an NVQ Level 2 / Diploma (or equivalent) in Business Administration and have recent administrative experience in a busy office environment, then we would love to hear from you! Able to work well as part of a wider team, you will have excellent communication and time management skills and be able to plan and manage your own workload.

Proactive and highly organised, you will have well developed ICT skills including MS Office, Windows and Google Suite, and take personal responsibility for delivering quality work.

Essential Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 4 GCSE's or equivalent (including English and Maths) at Grade D or above
  • Proven experience in MS Office and Google
  • Recent administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Can cooperate with other work team members. Can also work without supervision
  • Can communicate with others confidently and assertively, both orally and in writing
Welsh language skills are desirable for this position.
