New Directions Education is currently looking to employ an enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to work in various Primary school’s in the Powys area. We have a number of schools with specific needs, so need someone who is flexible and willing to take on a challenge. The ideal candidate will be someone who can use their own initiative, and be flexible due to the nature of supply placements.
Our schools have requested we source outgoing and passionate individuals to help support them and their requirements. Successful applicants will ideally hold an Teaching Assistant qualification, although unqualified staff with relevant experience and the right attitude will be considered.
Creating a good working relationship with a school is imperative whilst representing New Directions to ensure the best possible feedback, and to be requested for further placements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Teaching, Learning or Classroom Assistants are now vital resources for teachers and are heavily relied upon in schools.
We specialise in recruiting Teaching Assistants (TA) who are qualified in the following;
• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant
• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
• Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• CACHE Level 3 in Childcare & Education
• BTEC National Certificate in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing).
We’ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who have previously held a job in a primary school or assisted a pupil in the role in a secondary school but do not hold any of the above qualifications.
