Job description

Term Time
The Governing Body of Cwmfelin Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious, and caring Learning Support Officer to work in a highly motivated and friendly teaching team.
The successful candidate will need to be:
Dedicated to their own professional development and school improvement
Able to work in close partnership with teaching and support staff
Highly motivated and able to work on their own initiative
Prepared to undertake 30 minutes lunch duty per day
You will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have good experience of working with children.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
