New Directions Education
A well-respected primary school in the Tonypandy area is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role. The successful candidate will be working in a busy Nursery class with a number of new pupils due to a large intake taking place in the new year. The role will involve a huge amount of collaboration with the class teacher and fellow teaching assistant to provide an interactive and fun learning environment alongside providing academic and emotional support for the pupils. As there will be a number of pupils new to education my client is looking for candidates who are warm, approachable and friendly alongside possessing the confidence to work to a plan but also with their own initiative. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential you can commit to this position on an ongoing basis.
To be considered for this vacancy you will need to have a background working with children on either a paid or voluntary basis or display transferable skills from previous roles, this will be required alongside the passion and confidence to positively impact children’s educational experience. A background working specifically with nursery-aged pupils would be looked upon favourably.
If you feel you have the skills and criteria for any of this role please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
