Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 3:15pm to 7:00pm
Friday 3:15pm – 5:45pm
39 weeks per year (term time)
9am – 4pm a further 12 days during school holidays (to be arranged)
The Governing Body is looking to appoint a cleaner to work 17.5 hours per week, 44 weeks per year. You will work within a team of cleaners, and between you, you will be responsible for cleaning the entire school. Duties involve: vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting surfaces and cleaning toilets.
You will also be required to work a further 12 days, 8 during the school summer break and 4 over the Easter break, in order to carry out a deep clean of the school. Days to be agreed.
Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods.
Maes Ebbw School caters for children with severe learning difficulties and some have profound and multiple learning difficulties.
The school has 159 pupils on roll whose age range is from 3 – 19 years. The school comprises of Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary (post 16).
The post will be offered on a permanent basis.
This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). If you are successful at securing an interview you will be asked to bring 3 forms of I.D to the interview. We can discuss suitable forms of I.D at this time.
