An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Inclusion and Wellbeing Team for an Inclusive Practice Teacher Advisor to commence as soon as possible.
A key part of the role will be to:
  • To provide professional support to schools across Torfaen to ensure the effective delivery of high quality teaching and learning in order to secure the best possible outcomes for children with additional learning needs.
  • To be responsible for supporting elements of the Early Years (EY) ALN Link Officer (ALNLO) role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has Qualified Teacher Status, who has a thorough knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales, a sound understanding of quality teaching and learning within a Nursery /Primary school environment and has at least 5 years' post qualification experience in teaching.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge and understanding of inclusive practice in a mainstream Nursery / school environment.
