Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity at our HR department for a HR Support to join the team. The role of HR Support would positively contribute to the efficiency an effectiveness of the HR department.

Salary: £19,000
Base Location: Itec House, Cardiff
Contract: Full time, permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm


What are the core responsibilities of this role?

• Supporting with for the day-to-day timely completion of HR processes and administration
• Responsible for supporting with the recruitment process including arranging interviews and the administration processes that is involved
• Responsible for supporting the HR department with the annual Training and Development plan, including the organisation of training events and maintaining training records
• Responsible for supporting the HR department with Wellbeing & Engagement activities
• Responsible for booking travel and accommodation for employees
• To support in managing the new starter process, including drafting offer letters and starter paperwork, updating systems, reference and DBS checks / right to work checks
• responsible for supporting with the administration process of training & development and Recruitment where required.
• General administration duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying
• Support the department and wider business with other duties from time to time


What skills and experience are we looking for from potential applicants?

Essential

• Administration experience
• Working with MS word, excel and outlook
• Data base management
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships
• Ability to manage multiply priorities
• Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle


Desirable
• Experience within a HR department
• CIPD level 3 or equivalent
• Knowledge of HR policies & procedures
