Salary: £24,379 - £26,543 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Reprographics Technician within the Estates department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based across campuses.

Responsibilities include:
  • To undertake and deliver the College's central reprographics and post room functions.
  • To work effectively with colleagues to achieve the College's and the Department's mission and strategic aims.
  • To support, contribute to and take personal responsibility for implementing the College's commitment to Diversity and Equality of Opportunity.
  • To contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • To support and participate in initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all the College's and Premises users.
  • Manage the work of the reprographics department and provide effective line management to reprographics staff.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Estates Operations, monitor and maintain the current printing and photocopying accounting system with the aim of reducing hard copy output and allowing accurate recharging costs to faculties and departments.
  • Effectively manage all central output devices of the reprographics department. Maintain accurate service and fault records and report faults in a timely manner.
  • Effectively manage all photocopy/printing equipment throughout the estates including MFD's and desk top printing/copying equipment.
  • In conjunction with the Director and Head of Estates Operations, assist with the procurement of contracts for central and local photocopying/printing equipment.
  • Welsh language skills would be desirable for this role.
